April 2020 - “The First Vision” General Conference Preparation Recommendations

1. Feb 9-Feb 15 -- Read “My 2020 Invitation to You: Share the Message of the Restoration of the Savior’s Gospel” by President Russell M Nelson. Begin to make your personal plan to follow the Prophet’s counsel in preparation for the April 2020 General Conference. Go to ChurchofJesusChrist.org or follow this link:

2. Feb 16-Feb 22 -- Listen to Elder Ballard speak on the people and events that laid the foundations for the First Vision and the beginning of the Last Dispensation. Contemplate the “exceedingly great faith” (Alma 13:3) that you demonstrated in the pre-existence to trust in the Savior and follow Heavenly Father’s Plan. Ponder and contemplate the things you have learned and experienced over the
past several weeks. Revisit those that have a particular interest for you, or to gain further insights. Carefully consider your testimony of these things, and what you may need to do to strengthen your faith and commitment to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Make a record of your thoughts and impressions, and have them with you during the April 2020 General Conference.
